Monitoring your website’s resources is important for performance, security, and preventing downtime. DirectAdmin provides tools to help you check how much CPU, RAM, disk space, bandwidth, and email/storage your website is using.
Follow the steps below to view everything easily.
Step 1: Log in to DirectAdmin
Use your hosting username and password to access your control panel.
Step 2: Go to “System Info & Files”
On the main dashboard, look for:
System Info & Files
This section shows the overall server and account statistics.
Step 3: Click “Resource Usage”
In many DirectAdmin panels (especially CloudLinux servers), you’ll find:
Resource Usage
This page displays:
CPU usage
RAM / Memory usage
Entry processes
I/O usage
Faults or errors
You can also see if your site has hit any limits that may cause slow loading or downtime.
Step 4: View Disk Space and Bandwidth
To check how much storage and bandwidth your account is using:
Go to Account Manager
Click Account Stats
Here you will see:
Disk space usage
Bandwidth usage
Number of email accounts
Number of databases
FTP accounts
Domain limits
This helps you know if you’re close to your hosting limits.
Step 5: Check Per-Folder Disk Usage
To see which folders are using the most space:
Open File Manager
Go to public_html or your domain folder
Select the folder → Click Calculate Size
This shows which files or plugins consume large storage.
Step 6: View Email Storage
If you want to know which mailbox is using space:
Go to Email Manager
Select Email Accounts
Check the “Usage” column
You’ll see how much storage each email inbox occupies.
Step 7: Database Size
To view database usage:
Go to MySQL Management
Check size of each database
Useful if you’re running WordPress, Joomla, or other CMS systems.
